Israel’s Anobit, a company specialized in NAND flash tecnologies, was acquired by Apple for $500M. The “Think Different” company hasn’t released any information regarding the deal and the future projects.
Anobit tecnologies can help the Cupertino guys to improve the lifespan of SSDs and NAND memories equipped by Mac and iDevices. Furthermore it seems that Anobit already produces enterprise-class solid state drives.
