Crucial working on a fix for M4 BSOD bug

Crucial M4I thought Crucial M4 was the most-reliable SSD available in the market, but it seems I was wrong. A bug affect it after 5,000 hours of active use: the drive starts to generate BSOD with a regular cadence of about 1 hour.

Crucial has determined the problem and it’s currently working on a firmware update. The release date is scheduled for January 16th.

Luckily enough, there is no risk of losing data. I hope the company will be able to meet its promise. Until the release, there is no workaround for the affected units.
